“Nordstrand Janitsjarkorps - Christmas eve concert topped all expectations
(…) Nordstrand Janitsjarkorps digged up yet another big musical
surprise. The piece Windows Of The World by P.Graham, in itself a whole
concert, comprised six parts: Amazonia Rainforest, with 15 year-old
Hanne Heen as supreme solist on french horn, The Rising Sun, Drums of
Thunder, Celtic Dreams and Earth Walk. To yeld full justice we must
give drummer João Lobo, immigrant from Portugal, an honourable
mention. His handling of the drumsticks and drumset was highly
impressive! With his playing he contributed to strengthen the
orchestra’s eminent musical level. (…)”

“Nordstrand Janitsjarkorps - Førjulkonsert oversteg alle forventninger
(…) Nordstrand Janitsjarkorps satt igien med en stor musikalsk
overraskelse: Musikkstyket Windows Of The World av P.Graham utgjorde I
seg selv en hel konsert. Stykket var satt sammen av seks deler:
Amazonia Rainforest med 15-årige Hanne Heen som suveren solist
på waldhorn, The Rising Sun, Drums Of Thunder, Celtic Dreams og
Earth Walk. For å yte full rettferdighet, må vi gi
trommeslageren João Lobo, innvandrer fra Portugal, hederlig
omtale. Hans behandling av trommestikkene og trommesett imponerte
stort! Han bidro med sitt spill til å forsterke Janitsjarens
eminente musikalsk nivå. Applausen som fulgte, markerte at
fremførelsen av Windows Of The World, også med
intermessoer som rolige partier, gikk over i “minnenes
melodi”. (…)”
